Part Two 2025 Plastic Warrior Show The Show, as I have said before the Plastic Warrior Show is one of the smallest show I do. Despite its small size, the show is concentrated with so much plastic, you can go around thirty times and still find surprises.
Part Two 2025 Plastic Warrior Show Figure Time

Once the doors opened a crowd people came in and start looking for their treasures. I am looking for the collection and resale. This year I decided to look for Marx. I picked up some of the six-inch British, but the surprise was to find these 54mm sailors. On a dealer’s table, I spotted two of Marx guided missles. The going through the box it had mostly 45mm Marx Air Force. Then I spotted a white figure, it was a 54mm sailor, then another one pop out. By the time I was done I had the six figures you see above.

This was my major purchase for myself. It is a Sacul Knight with an ax. It was not cheap, because of its cost, I passed on the other pose the dealer had. Sacul is a small English company that I knew did metal. this was the first time I had seen it.

This was another surprise Ken Toys Dan Dare figures. The figure above is Sir Hubert. I also acquired the figures of Professor Peabody and Lex O’Malley. Dan Dare is England’s equivalent to Buck Rogers. I have had experience selling Dan Dare items so I picked them up for resale.
Every year PW does booklets on various English companies. This year one of the booklets they did was on Poplar Toys. I know you are right now saying that Thomas Toys and you are right. For years, most people thought that Thomas Toys made the molds here then shipped them to England. What PW found out is Poplar Toys made mold masters which they then shipped to Thomas Toys. Thomas Toys would then send the master to Ferriot Brothers to make molds for them. These booklets sell quickly. I will show the booklets in my next post and share more finds.

Ferriot brothers made so many of the moulds
Of the 1950’s and 60’s figures that we love.
Wish they were still designing and producing them.
Those 54mm sailors would look good with the Lindbergh 1/32 PT109 model kit.
Does anyone have a built one of those to show off with photos?
