I look forward to the Gettysburg show. It is a show I can drive to and find items for the collection and resale. This year I was doing extra duty, helping Mike Predergast of Warhorse Miniatures. His lovely lady, Carolyn, was unable to attend due to health issues. Mike needed extra eyes at his table, so I was happy to help.
The trip started with a little rain, but it soon cleared up, and I had no problems getting to the show. Since I was helping Mike, I parked in the dealers’ area. I discovered that I was next to Tom Stine when he just showed up to get more items for his tables. We completed a deal for Timpo/Auroa Fort Germino and headed into the show.
I went directly to Mike’s table. The first surprise I saw was this Japanese tank that Mike did. This was a prototype, and he wants to do it with more battle damage.
Mike is not forgetting his other eras as he has these Rev War figures out.

One thing I like about Mike is comes up with some imaginative ideas such as these Indians pushing a burning wagon.

Things were selling fast. If you are going to Chicago, get to his room or tables as items sell fast, especially the monsters.
The Rest of the Show
The rest of the show was still exciting despite being one row less. This dealer set up a Civil War display.
The dealer also had a Revolutionary War display.
There was a dealer with Jonny West Figures.
