August 2026 Gettysburg Show: a Fun Show
While some people think the second show of the Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show is not important. They would be wrong. I have found that the second show of the year is just as important. There are some different dealers plus some regulars. One of the regulars is Warhorse Miniatures. Mike will have some new items, which I have shown in a previous post. I will be helping Mike this time, as Carolyn is unable to attend as she is dealing with a health issue. I am happy to help out. Hope to see you there.
Wyatt Earp
I was scanning past the Paul Knapp show, and they brought up the Marx Wyatt Earp figure. They said that he was not done in black. I immediately emailed the show that I knew someone who had it in black, me. He, along with the other figures you see in the photo above, came from the Marx auction. Yes, the Wyatt Earp in true gray, not Landfield gray. You can read the whole story from 2012 here.
The Plastic General.
Staying with Paul Knapp, in his latest show with Christian Aldo, the Plastic General, Christian announced figures that may excite you. He had found a person who can do figures similar to Plastic Platoon. You can find out more about this project at 25 minutes into the show. Here is the link.
