July,2026 Interesting Figure Time: I have been busy finding figures for resale and the collection. It gets hard at times not to keep everything you find. I fight hard to keep the collection under control, but it does not always work.
July, 2026 Interesting Figure Time: Expeditionary Force
At the New Jersey Toy Soldier Show, I acquired several Expeditionary Force figures. The high quality of the painting of the person struck me. I debated whether to keep them.
I decided to keep one, a flagbearer, and share the others.
Various Figures Found
These are some figures I found at the New Jersey Toy Show. The figure on the left is from Armies in Plastic. I am sure Erwin or someone else will tell me who he is. The middle figure is an archer knight. The scuba diver is a Hong Kong copy of the Lone Star figure.
This unknown Indian chief was in a junk bag I got at the show. The New Jersey show is small; I only bought from four dealers. Three I have bought from before and one new one. The new dealer had six Merten 60mm Indian chiefs and a Starlux Mounted Joan of Arc. Those are going into my collection. I will be doing photos of them soon.
I picked these figures up at the Mullica Hills Show. The pirate reminded me of my late friend Bob Burns, and I would have given it to him.

A Little More On the Show
As mentioned before, the New Jersey Show is not big. It has a relaxing feel. Most of the dealers were selling metal. You could get Britains Deetail at various prices. My friend Gerry had a wide selection of plastic at great prices. There was a dealer with foam pieces. Hobby Bunker had metal and plastic. I was able to stop off at the Clinton Diner on the way home.
