October 2026: Treasures of Markus Leckshied Photos
A grouping of Hugeon swoppet figures. The prone Foreign Legion figure will be repaired.
Markus bought the Spirit of 76 figures to get the Kinder pieces. Also in the photos are Jean of Germany Cowboys and Airfix U.S. Troops.
A nice group of figures including Reisler, Starlux, and Timpo. The lot even has a Marx/Heimo pirate. He got four of Reisler soldiers done as black figures. These are hard to find.
A nice selection of musketeers plus a knight.
A nice mix of Jescan Barbarians and Jim knights with some Indians.
Markus got a nice mix of Atlantic, including pieces from the Chinese Revolution. I had seen in the photos from the show Chinese Revolution figures and would have bought them if I had been at the show. I am glad that Markus picked them up.
The best item that Markus got was these Mexicans that celebrated Mexico’s Independence. He said he got them from a woman that always has unusual items. This show has many unusual figures, as I discovered the one time I was there.
Odds and Ends
I found this damaged Marx Colonial running in a group of figures. As you can see, he is missing part of his rifle. It made me think about what I would have done with this figure as a child. I would have imagined the remaining rifle was a sword and used him that way. What would you have done with him?
From my friend Bob Black, I picked up Marvel’s Vision and DC Lizard figures. I am amazed at how many Superhero figures you can get in the 54 to 70mm range. When I was a child, I had to paint some MPC ringhands to be superheroes.
A lot great finds .Awesome treasures .
