Part Two German Plastic Show Spring 2024

Part Two German Plastic Show Spring 2024, in this post I will look at some of the people I met besides getting items for resale and the collection.

Part Two German Plastic Show People

Part Two German Plastic Show Doris

What I enjoy at these shows. Laurie and I met Axel Sohuinus years ago at the PW Show. Until I the show I had not met his lovely wife Doris.

Another person I met at the show was Patrice. Patrice had been originally from France. His wife who is a doctor was required to practice in another country for a year. They picked Germany and ended up staying. It was my pleasure to sit with him and talk about his family and the hobby.

An old friend I was able to connect with was Alfred Plath. Alfred is a premier collector of Timpo. I promised him some photos of an Ohip Arts Timpo sales board that I have in the collection.

One item that I picked up was a replacement for a figure I had. I had given the previous one to a friend as it was a color variation for him. The figure inspired a short story idea. If I remember right he represents a city.

As I mentioned before the show is not just Timpo. Over on the left is an Airfix HO Guards band. sorry the photo is dark.

Part Two German Plastic Show wagon

The covered wagon is interesting I have no idea who made it.

Part Two German Plastic Show boxes of figures

Here are more boxes to go through. I see one box has Jean of Germany and another has Airfix. There was just so much to look at.

Before I knew it the show was over. There were so many high points I could not pick one. I went back to my hotel to relax. That night Markus and I went to another fine restaurant.

You can go to my friend Peter Bergner’s site and see more photos of the show.

Paul, is that covered wagon perhaps Britains? the horses sure look like the ones from the Herald and swoppet lines.

  2. Andrew Ulliott says:

Definitely a Britains Wagon from the mid 90’s
