September 2026: Flea Market Roaming next year will mark 60 years of driving. My parents did not drive. (A story for another time.) After I learned to drive, we would go to various farmers’ markets and flea markets. As I said before, I have seen the rise and fall of various markets. I have found some great items and missed great items.
This year has been rough. Competition has been high, and not a lot of good material is out at the markets. Still, I look at the flea markets as a chance to walk around and enjoy.
September 2026: Flea Market Roaming Surprises
I was walking at my regular Saturday flea market when I found this space vehicle in the bag.
The space men are ones we’ve seen before. The price was only $2.00. I had gone one dollar over, and then the vendor said that was enough.

The same vendor had a bag of figures for a dollar and told me You can have it as well. The only figures found in the bag later were Britains Herald British army kneeling firing and an Auburn cannon. I will keep the Britains figures and give a friend the cannon.

At another stand, I find a Marx flat-blue-mounted Union figure. The dealer has no other Marx pieces. I also found the SWAT figure at the same table. The Valiant Miniatures metal cowboy I found at another table and will add him to my Western setup.

At the table, I found the Marx figure; I found these four figures. The two on either end are by Imaginext. The one on the left is a knight, while the one on the right is from their Pirates of the Caribbean
Another Flea Market

I did a flea market I had not done in a long time and found this steel blue MPC Jeep. I asked the dealer how much; he said $.45. In the next breath, he said five for a dollar. I picked out four more items

I found a few more odd figures at the market. The only one I know about is the Imaginext Pirates of the Caribbean figure. The other two I have no idea who they are. The only other figure I got was a Nabisco Clipper from Sky King.

The blue “swat” type figure belongs to a set of four poses created in the 1990s in China and sold under the Boley brand. Some of the figures are equipped with gear and weapons that resemble those used in Europe or Asia .
