April 2024 Odds Ends Catching Up, I have one more post on my German adventure which I will up in a day or two not months. LOL Right now I want to make you aware of some new Russian figure sets. Next, I will share a figure I found at a flea marketplus another conversion from Axel Sohinus and an auction purchase .

Beleriand Toy Soldiers Beren and Luthien Set One is a five-piece set.

I believe these figures are by Plastic Platoon.

Hobby Bunker(Warhansa) Roman Legionnaires
Soldier EST Pirates this is a new company for me. The set has six figures plus a cannon. I like the figure with a keg, a bottle, and a mug.
Tithon Vikings Set four which contains five different figures.
Figures Found
I decided to do a Sunday Flea Market I had not done in a few years. It would also get me out walking which I need to do. I came upon a dealer who had three figures which were not broken. Two were Starlux the third which you can see above was an unknown. I put a photo up on Facebook and it was quickly identified as Quilaru. Quilaru is another company from France. the market I did is known for foreign figures. i also acquired some other Starlux figures and a Merten from another dealer. I will go back in the near future.
This is another of the conversions by my friend Axel Sohinus.of a plague doctor. A plague doctor was hired to take care of the sick during an epidemic.
These three figures showed up in an auction. They are done in the style of a Marx Warriors of the World. Erwin said they were sold in gift shops, but the one has a Kresage price tag. I wonder how many others were done.
Wow, Paul, what a great selection of figures. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, as always. Gotta have the woman on a tree! What a hoot. I also wasn’t aware that Warhansa made Roman legionnaires. Thanks for letting us know they can be obtained through Hobby Bunker.

Hobby bunker does not have them. Warhansa is using the Hobby Bunker name in Russia.
I like all the Russian figures. The pirates look good but the cannon barrel looks a bit kiddish like a Play mobile cannon.
The details on all of the figures look very sharp .
