February Odds Ends Four Interesting Figure

February Odds Ends Four Egg Cup
Erwin Sell sent me the above photo. It shows a copy of the Britains Japanese as Chinese were uniformed and trained in 1936 to 38 by Germany. I immediately recognize the figure as being from the Soldier Egg Cup. This item was offered back in 2008. Someone took it off the base and put it on a deetail base.

February Odds Ends Four Mark McDermott Update

We just saw that our very good friend Mark McDermott is doing well. This Saturday he walked a new flea market named Bristol Flea market. mark stated on his Facebook page it was the longest walk he has done. He is going back to work. I was worried about him and glad to hear the good news. How to see you again on the show circuit.

Greg Liska’s Question

Timmee Lido
Greg Liska on a question on figure size between Lido 3 Inch and Timmee 60mm. He got an answer. Here it is: The Ebay seller graciously answered my question on the scale of the mounted Lido 3″ officer and even provided comparison pics!  Great guy! He advised against using them together and I agree. The Timmee ACW mounted officer is already larger than the rest of the figures in the set and this Lido officer is a head taller than him.
timmee Horse
He placed him on a Timmee horse for one pic and I don’t think it looks too bad, but he IS just too big for the others.

Publius Iroquois Indians

Evan Oelrichs has clued me on a new set from Publius. It is Iroquois Indians. The set contains six different poses. We will do a future review of the figures. For now, you can see them here.

Spinmaster Batman

Recently I showed some of the Spinmaster two-inch Batman figures. Pixel Dan Eardley was at the New York Toy fair and was able to get a little more information on this line. It starts at 4:15.
