February Odds End Three Larry Patterson

February Odds End Three, we have a number of items to cover. First, we have some information on Larry Patterson. Larry has had some health issues and some other updates from him. Next, Prikaz has done more French soldiers from the Indochina War. We will have a photo of some Robin Hood figures from Italy.

February Odds End Three Larry Patterson

I recently sold some Stuart Horses to Larry Patterson on Ebay. He gave me an update on his health and recent move. I thought to share his information with you. I guess I should start with back in 2015 I had an Abdominal Endovascular graft  ( An Aneurysm on my main artery in the stomach region ) Repaired and out of the hospital the next day!

Setback

Well, this was good up until the 13 of Jan. 2020,  I developed 3 separate leaks and would wind up near bleeding out internally before I could have the repairs done. I wound up having to be transferred to Tulsa Oklahoma where I would remain for over a week that required a 2 and a half hour ambulance ride, Weather was bad here and could not be life-flighted. Anyway, I survived yet another close one and am happy to report that I am recovering quite well –I would think I am at about 75% there as of this writing. I have been out of contact with several people and hope this somehow lets folks know my status. If anyone wishes to contact me I am sure my friend Paul would provide them with my new E-mail.

We have moved to Arkansas this past Oct. and are enjoying this area very much despite the somewhat minor set -back!

Happy collecting to all

Larry Patterson

February Odds End Three Prikaz

February Odds End Three French
Rahway and I both spotted this notice from Alexey of Pisarev of Prikaz on Facebook. He has done five figures of the French Foreign Legion Parachute Battalion. They are 54mm and in a rubber. material. As we get more information we will post it.

Detlef’s Robin Hood Figures

Detlef Robin Hood
Our very good friend Detlef Heerbrand keeps coming up with some interesting figures. He recently showed these two Robin Hood figures by GIO-PI. Here is Robin Hood
Friar Tuck
The other figure in this series Detlef got is Friar Tuck. Notice that Friar Tuck is wearing a helmet similar to the one in Adventures of Robin Hood. I have no idea how many figures are in this series.

Hello Tim, It is always good to hear from the old list people. We all have seen so many changes. I think about how the internet came in and changed things. Not all for the good.
      Stay well
