2019 Last Flea Market Marx toys

2019 Last Flea Market, for my birthday I tried to go to a flea market if possible. This tradition was started many years ago when I was on the Christmas holiday with relatives in Orlando Florida. My birthday fell on a Saturday so I went to an indoor flea market at the Merchants Square Mall.

2019 Last Flea Market The Hunt

I walked into the flea market and started to walk around. I found three figures from Trash Can Bunch which I will show in a future post. Pleased to find the figures, I went up the next aisle and spotted a shoebox. In the shoebox was a nice group of plastic figures, which I bought. The first items I found were these various Marx and MPC figures.
Marx Colonial
Also in the box, was the mounted colonial figure. I added the horse to the mix.
MPC cowboys
Next, MPC Ringhand cowboys with accessories were found in the box.
Marx pioneers
The fourth item in the shoebox was a group of Marx 54mm pioneers.
Lido cowboys
Another item from the show box is a group of Lido cowboys which were also used by Ideal.
Ideal Colonials
Two 60mm Ideal colonial figures showed up. It makes how this mix got together and where are other items are.
Miscellaneous figures
Finally, these three figures showed up which I will keep. On the left is a Nabisco baseball figure. In the middle is an unknown figure for me at the moment. On the right is the Rel mounted pioneer.

More Surprises

Ackerman soldiers
As I left the table where I bought the shoebox a few rows over a dealer had a bag of made in China soldier figures. I picked it up as it was only a dollar. It had twelve different poses. Checking with Erwin Sell, He said they were copies of a company called Ankerman. I will do a full post on them in a future post.
Alien figure
At another table, I saw the weird alien on the left. I know Laurel likes weird items. It is marked urger King so it may be related to Men in Black. The dealer charged a dollar for it, but you got three more figures for the dollar. so I picked up the mouse warrior and the two western figures.
Two dinosaurs
Also at the same dealer had three dinosaurs for a dollar each. Here are two of them.
One dinosaur
Here is the other dinosaur, they will end up in Laurie’s collection.
Bug creatures
After leaving the flea market I check some of the regular stands. I saw the bug creature in a bin for two for $1.00. so I added the baseball figure. I realized later the creature was from Monsters vs. Aliens. As I buying the two figures I found out they had a 15% discounts

Final Surprise

Britains Knight
My final stop was at the stand which is loaded with various comic character figures. I have mentioned this stand before. They sell most of their figures $3.00 each two for $5.00. I had seen the Britains knight some months earlier and decided to pick him up if no one bought him for my birthday. The poor figure was still there, so I picked him.
Before getting him I spotted the pioneer. He is a Lincoln Logs pioneer in metal to commemorate an anniversary. Earlier in the year, I got a plastic version. Now, I will place him with the plastic version and the original version.
So it was a good birthday.
