Urfin American Indians Review The Review

Urfin American Indians Review

I had place Urfin figures in orange type color next to Replicant, CTS, Barzso, Nino and AIP pose to show better how they blend or not.The quality in Urfin new Indians is super well done, the poses are also great.Urfin with these figures as should be; increase quality and left the previews chunky odd cartoonish poses made in other set figures with too short weapons .This time the did then much better.

Picture with scale ruler show from feet (not base) to top head figures are 57 mm tall max.

Because pedestal type base the figures increase to 63/65 mm max high. The base is a distinction of this maker that so far is only one marking with brand name and logo figures below base from East Europe new makers.

Also, apparently these figures wasa limited run and not reproduced more for now

Price is as usual very high or alike Warhansa.

Material is better than Warhansa not quite stiff or brittle but more flexible.

The heavy clothing depicted in these north east Indians made then more suitable for cold weather scenes than most made by other brands

Urfin American Indians Review Final Thoughts

These figures are a necessary additions to those doing this period of history. Until The last few years there was little in this period. Perhaps one of the earliest Indian figure is the Replicants Indian with redcoat. A great figure done by Peter Cole. Erwin feels the AIP Indians are the ones to go best

I was thrilled with my set. A grandson knocked one of the feathers off. Super glue easily reattached it.

I think they are sculpted nice with good detail, the clothing looks right for the period. However, the poses are rather stiff looking with very little animation. I would expect a little more suggested movement on the dude with the club and tomahawk. they look like they are out strolling rather than being in attack mode. Although the way they are carrying the weapons would suggest imminent combat.

I agree partially.Considering the so high price these figures are it could well be done much better in that part.No doubt.
Overall the are great figures to me .
Heavy clothes Indians are not common for this period.
Winter action was not common as they shelter a lot during north cold winters but late fall eason attacks by then was commonplace back then
      best.
