Pretty amazing! I’m also wondering what materials were used. I think a formation of marching Remco Romans moving down one of the boulevards would fit in perfectly.

I will have to check with Greg if he does not post tomorrow.

That would be a dream come true for me! I’d love to amass about 200 of them. 100 of red and 100 of silver. I could repair any broken spears, no problem. I’d want 20 archers and 10 with gladius, maybe 3 signifer with chariot, the rest with pilum in each formation. This might become a mission for me during my next deployment. You have to blow at least some of that money on frivolous stuff.

Best of luck on your project. I just check EBay and there only two figures for sale at in my book at silly prices.

Sometimes you get lucky. No rush. I’m not even on contract again, yet. There were loads for sale on Ebay last year, when I didn’t want them. Maybe that’s the secret. I retract my desire! I don’t want them, anymore! There…now they’ll show up.

It is always that way, when you don’t want an item it is all over the place. When you want it they disappear. The Remco romans pop up as the ships were popular

Hi, all. I didn’t even know this was put on Stad’s. I just happened to stop by to creep the site. Thanks for the positive feedback! The bases are wood and hand painted to look like cobblestone. The buildings are mostly foam board. The Amphitheater is from Ben Hur, but I painted it and added card stock backing and some foam board to build out the straight sections. The arena is painted with some hobby mud and other colors sprayed over it. The columns you see are actually for wedding cakes. The friezes are made from Ho scale figures.
