Olaf Rose’s Table picture shows a SA bldg with Swastika Flags,I thought showing Swastikas in the Fatherland was a big NO-NO.

Very likely they miss it. At the first german Plastic Show, we were at I spotted upon a table figure with a Nazi flag and alert the promoter which he had the person coverup.

    • ERWIN SELL says:

Yeah and here we soon will have to cover up the Confederate war flag as well .Hilarious ridiculous laws .Yet in films can be shown at all time .I can see confederate flags in the plastic totes a lot in photos there .
I like how much simple plastic figures of many brands are pile up and here you barely see it now.Definitely Germany become the golden country in plastic figures .Here you either see all same all years around or get ready to see crazy price for what you find in Germany for a fraction .Rest here are US brands ,Reissues, new production and few European ,most UK at high price .
      my thoughts

Yes German law on that point is rather complicated. As long as the swastika turns up in historical books its almost no problem. While writing this I take a look on the Official Flagbook of the German Navy M.Dv.Nr. 377 from 1939. Of course not the orginal but a reprint easy to buy even in the country of its origin. As soon as you use the swastika for political publications it turns out to be a different thing. At toy antique shows its kind of more than fifty shades instead of clear regulations. I’m sure Olaf was kindly requested to cover the swastika after the pic has been taken. Same with the huge Me 321 Revell/Italaerei building kit in its uncensored box.
Otherwise as mostly plastic rather than composition showed up plus a moderate number of model kits not a real problem.

And Happy independence day to all!!
