Andreas Dittmann’s February Surprises Comical Medieval

Andreas Dittmann’s February Surprises, I start off with some figures that came in for Laurie and me. Next, I found some comical medieval figures which Peter Bergner sent me a few months ago and got lost. Markus Lecksheid is a Timmee pirate mystery.

Andreas Dittmann’s February Surprises Dinosaurs

Andreas read in a previous post that Laurie stills collect dinosaurs. He sent some for her and a few items for me. In this photo, we have three small dinosaurs from Schleich. Also, in the bag with the dinosaurs was Roche aux Fees female circus ringmaster from their circus series. I left them with her as it looks like she was using in a circus act.

The other dinosaur item that Andreas sent Laurie is these Dinosaur mascots. The dinosaur comic pair are Geomilio and Gemilia character figures from our nearby geopark (National German Geopark Westerwald-Lahn-Taunus” (WLT). Andreas is working from time to time for the geopark and they made those figures
as advertising dinosaurs because the geopark has some petrified dino
tracks. Bullyland agreed to produce the figures for us. So these are their
“own plastic figures”.
King Elvis
Finally, Andreas sent this figure of Elvis done by Koho. Elvis had done his military service in the Bas Nauheim area where the big German composition show was held. It will be a welcome addition to our various Beatle figures in the collection.

Comical Medieval Figures

Jester and Medieval
At the 2016 Plastic Warrior show, I found at my very good friend Peter Bergner a comical jester. Last year, Peter advised me that others of the figures were available on German Ebay. He was able to get the set very cheaply for me.
More Medieval
Here are several more from the series. I misplaced the notes on the name, which I will add later.

Timmee Pirate Mystery

Timmee pirate
Another very good friend Markus Lecksheid saw my photo of the Timmee pirate and it brought to mind the one he owns. It has a variation to the one I have.
Closeup of the Timmee pirate's sword
The detail of its left leg shows an engraving saying PRIMO. The O in the shadow of the sword of course. Does the one you have shown the same? Markus kind of curious about the question since I got the figure quite a long time ago. Markus and I know there was a German Timmee production line of pirates. Markus, also there was a short-lived comic book series called Primo in the 70s over here. He never liked it very much when he was a kid. They had some premiums coming with the comics according to catalog but pirate figures a not mentioned. Any information would be appreciated.

Of the comical medieval set the two females seem closer to natural looking and less ‘comical’ (big headed).

The dejected-looking monk is a great character figure! Wish I had one.
