Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016 from Laurie and myself.  We hope that you are having a safe time in this rough year.  In future post I will look back on the year and how it affected our hobby.  For now it is a time to sit back, relax and enjoy the season.

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016 Our Day

For Laurie and me  it is a quiet time. Both of us are only childs so we have no close family. Our friends we would like to share the holiday with live too far away to visit.  So we took the day off and relaxed.  I got a Laurie a book, winter hat, candy and money.   We will have a ham dinner and the boys will a special meal.

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016 What I Got

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016

For Christmas I got a book, some clothes and some superhero figures.  As I have mention before as a child I made my own superhero figures as there were none available.  Since then various companies have made various superhero figures.  I have gotten many of these figures for the collection.  This year I found the above figures at Walmart. I was going through Walmart’s toy section when I spotted a box of blind bag figures. Made by Figz the series has nine different figures. Someone had cut all the bags looking for the villians and the chase figure which is a Superman in gold.

The fact they were opened did not upset me as I had none of the figures. I got four hero figures. Now I will have to look for the other five.  I found at another place Five Below  four of their five deluxe Superhero figures. There I need the Flash.

I forgot to check one hobby store and I will do that in the coming week.

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays 2016 Final thoughts

Once again Laurie and I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.  I would like to close on two notes. The first one is we have a tradition of going out on Christmas Eve to restaurant.  This year we went to Biaggio’s our favorite Italian restaurant. They had taken over a previous Italian restaurant about three years ago. They have build up a very nice business.  It has been our go to place and we go there regularly.  We had our meal and the staff wished us Merry Christmas by name. We felt it was very sincere.  Many of the staff gave each of us a hug. We also left with a free Panetone a Italian  fruit cake.

The other note is when we wish Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays we wish not only to our friends but also to our detractors.  This is one day we let our negative feelings aside.  We hope that everyone has a safe holiday.

By the way Stads, If your into Super-Hero figures do you know about or have you heard of the: Marvel 500 series, And Batman v Superman mighty minis? If you look on ebay you will find these figures. There are many different Heroes and Villains and ive brought some myself as i was mad on Marvel comics as a kid and im still interested in them and read a comic from time to time. The figures stand at between 40mm and 50mm and are highly detailed. So if you dont know about these figures take a look.

I have seen and I have not decided if I will add them to the collection. There are so many 45mm to 70mm figures it is over whelming. I do not have a lot of space so I have to be picky.

Ok Paul fair enough, There are a lot of these figures which is why ive only brought a few of my favourite figures and the rest i wont bother with, Plus theres the price to consider as well.
You could do as ive done, Buy one or two and see what you think.
