It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Spartacus, aka Sparky. He had been in declining health this past year.
We had gone to find a new friend after the passing of Jasmine. At the shelter, I saw this cute dog and had Laurie walk him. She liked him but wanted a female.
Laurie went back a week later to donate and saw that he was still there. She asked if he wanted to go home. He gave a positive sign and she adopted him. He was so happy. Especially when he could sleep with the humans.
That started 17 1/2 years of fun and sadness. He enjoyed his brothers and my late wife. He was a joy to be around. He will be missed.
Sparky was 18 1/2 years old.
Sorry for your loss, but I am glad you had so many good years together.
Really Sorry to hear that! Not just a “Pet” but a precious family member!! Always there thru thick and thin!! Take care and God Bless Him and You!!
Very sorry, Stad, about Sparticus’ passing. He was a member of your family, and just like losing any close family member, it’s tough. RIP Sparticus!
Sorry to hear this Stad. I know that it hurts. Praying for you.
I’m very sorry for your loss. You took care of him very well, and he was loved by you. He lived a very long life.
RIP 🙏
so sorry to hear about Sparky. these animals are like and are family and it is very hard to lose them especially after 18+ years.
Sorry to hear about your loss. What a great name for a dog!
Paul, so sorry to hear about Sparky. It is amazing how deep into our hearts those furry little buggers can get. Take my advice: take some time to grieve, but then get another one. Although they can never replace the previous one, they help fill the hole in your heart.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Paul. You gave him a great, long life and I know he was a blessing to you.
Sparky is a very special and handsome friend. I am very sorry for your loss and his passing.
Sparky had for sure the best home he could find. Not an expert but think 18 1/2 dog years almost equals a human century.
Sorry to hear that Sparky has passed, pets are part of the family and when they go it is always hard to take, he had a long and very happy life and you can’t ask for more than that.
This is sad to hear. Hang in there.
So sorry for your loss. Pets can be our best therapy. All the best.
RIP little fury Friend ,til You meet again
