May 2025 Plastic Figure Showcase
As I mentioned in my post on Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show, I purchased another collection of Foreign Plastic. I got hooked on foreign plastic as a child as I got foreign figures that were different from what I had. Most of them I could use in my stories. Once I started actively collecting as an adult. I learned more about the foreign companies. I have to be careful, I do not keep too much. It has been hard with this collection as there are many unique items that I have only seen in photos. In above photo, is and example of a rare figure, Speedwell Foreign Legion. A person could easily mistake it for a Timpo solid Foreign Legion. This figure is hard to find, but I put it up for sale.
Another figure I decided to sell is the Jescan mounted Moor. I have other figures from this series, but it did not excite me.
One set I did keep were these pirates. The figures were made by Reamsa. They are copies of the Starlux pirates which were made first in their Michel line.
They made two versions, one version had a plain base, while later version had a base which I call a lollilop base. This base had a hole to put a holder to attached a treat. I will show more in the near future.
Conte Collectibles Vikings
Richard Conte has a tenative date of July 2025 for his Vikings. From the photos above, you can see this will be another exicting set to own.
May 2025 Plastic Figure Showcase Mars Ukrainian Defenders Two
Mars Toy Soldiers has aunnounced a new set Ukranian Defenders Two. Another impressive set with second ever soldier with a drone.(A Russian company did a two man team.) I will be getting this set.

I would like to thank you all for the kind words on the passing of Sparky. He was family and we had many great times. I will be getting another friend soon and he may have a buddy. We will see.
I am very sorry to learn of Sparky’s passing, Stad. I know how much I love our doggie, Hash. They make amazing friends.
Those must be real pirates because they have hook hands, peg legs and parrots.
The Ukraine soldiers are first rate! Great detailing.
Is a Jecsan moor or saracen ,not a Mongol.
It belonged to the El Cid set made right after the film along the contemporary other competition brand set from Reamsa .

The Conte, and Mars sets are just outstanding, I will be getting these fine sets and hope others will do the same.
