Some Interesting Figures

As I was cleaning my work area for figures, I found this driver. with the old style of dress. He could be used in a Marx Untouchable setup. Marx had planned to do an exploding beer truck for the playset but it never got beyond the prototype stage. This figure could also be used in a World War Two setting in France.
Timmee Pirate copy
A first glance you would think this would be a Timmee pirate. It is actually a downsize copy of it. The figure was gotten by Don Ducotteon a visit to Gilrabtor years ago.
Leya Pioneer
This is a Leya pioneer. You will notice the fur vest and boots. He would great to use with your Mounties. While Leya is from Germany, the molds were sold to Mexico so you can find these figures in the flees markets here. This is the Mexico version.

More Shows Canceling

It seems every day we are hearing of more shows canceling or postponing. All my normal shows for the summer have cancel including Macungie. Some of the dealers who do that show are going to set up Jake’s Flea Market that is south of the Macungie show. I have seen shows set for October that are cancel. So far Columbus and Lafayette are still on. We will keep you posted.

Conte Collectibles Roman

Conte Romans
We are getting closer to seeing the Conte Romans. Here what Richard says on his project. In order to save $$$ and keep prices as low as I can, we will be having the Romans bagged in sets of 16 as per the photo. Obviously, the artwork for the ‘header card’ is missing because I haven’t sent it to the factory yet (I’m working on it this weekend ).

    The seated driver figure is a T. Cohn farm figure that should have a pin in his seat to plug into a tractor. There are 2 styles and I’ve seen them in black and yellow. They are nice figures, around 60mm, that fit into a variety of scenes.
