May BMC Figure Update New Pose

BMC Kickstarter
Jeff Imel has been an excellent job of keeping everyone aware of his project of women soldiers. Rahway let me know about Jeff’s latest update. Here is his report
Figures list

The first complete sets of Plastic Army Women resin prototypes arrived yesterday so I was very excited to set up all 18 pieces together for the first time:
It’s really gratifying to see all the troops together and one step closer to the final product. The next step is to send them to the toolmaker so they are transformed into steel plastic injection molds. There’s still plenty of little details to work out, but this represents a major milestone in the project.
figure Poses
Eagle-eyed supporters might have already noticed something new in the set. I was able to sneak in a last-minute variant of the Corpsman figure. The body is the same, but the 2nd Corpsman now has a different face, hair, and field cap instead of a helmet:
Schedule-wise, we’re about a month behind where I would like to be, but is still on track for October release. I’m way behind schedule on opening up the Backerkit site where you’ll finalize your reward details. The good news is that it won’t change when you receive your rewards. The Backerkit launch date depends upon when I get a few more details finalized, but I’ll be trying for the end of May.
Stay well,

Collection Time

Atlantic Russian Revolution
It is a shame that Atlantic did not take the military figures of the Russian Revolution and used in a separate box. I know they did small two figure boxes, it would be nice to have a larger set with some additional poses.
Fantasy figure
One of the figures from Peter Evans slipped threw the cracks until now. the figure is 3 inches tall and made in China. It would be great as a leader in a fantasy army. I have not idea who he is.
Kinder space ships
My collection has interesting pieces. These two pieces are from the science fiction section of the collection. I do not know about the robot who made him. The space ship is from Kinder which I have enjoyed getting on my trips. I will be showing more Kinder in the near future.

‘Medic’ not ‘Corpsmen’. That’s an Army hat, Corpsmen belong to the Navy and support the Marine Corps. Hey, if not me, somebody would have pointed it out.
