Executive Force Update Early Germans

Executive Force Update Early Germans, Rahway has alerted me to some more additional information from the Executive Force of a future offering to the early German offering we recently posted. We had sad news on the Marx meeting held in West Virginia. Next, I will share a video from a very good friend Chris Lamont showcasing his booth.

Executive Force Update Early Germans Update

Executive Force Update Early Germans

The early Germans are depicted as fierce warriors who do not fear death. They often fight among themselves.
Another cavalry pose
Their armed forces are organized along tribal hierarchies and made up of cavalry and infantry.
Third mounted pose
The cavalry is composed of the tribal aristocracy, their retainers, and among the more wealthy members of the tribe.
The Germans do not use the 4-horn Celtic saddle. Indeed, they consider the Celts to be inferior horsemen.
Foot Figure with ax
The cavalry component of a tribe is often very small in numbers although of high quality.

Some tribes (e.g. the Suebi) overcome this shortage by training “runners” to run alongside the mounted warriors and to fight in combat as an adjunct to the horsemen. They keep pace with the horsemen by holding on to the tails or manes of the horse.
Command Set

For the Command elements, we have a dragon standard and horn-blower arms options.

Marx Meet in West Virginia Canceled

Rick Eber posted this on the Marx Playset group on Facebook.

” Just spoke with Jimmy at the Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum and it appears that the Marx Convention in June will be canceled with no current plans of rescheduling it. The governor of West Virginia just announced yesterday that groups of 25 or more wouldn’t be allowed for the next 6 weeks. Jim and I spoke of possibly having it in the fall but he said it was their busy time of year but would look into it. He said there would be an official announcement coming out soon from the museum.”

Chris Lamont’s Stand at Merchant Square Mall

Our very good friend Chris Lamont shot a video of his stand at Merchant Square Mall. Like everything in the state, it is closed right now. Chris was up adding items for the stand. Most of the items he has are non-toy soldiers ( two friends get first shot at what he finds in that category). He does some Lord of the Rings figure. Still, it is a nice divergence. the link is from Facebook so it might not work if you are not a member of Facebook.
