Das Awkscht Fescht 2019 is the last major toy show in my area for the summer. The show is held on two days on Friday and Sunday. Friday, the dealers for the outside part of the show will start setting up for the show on Saturday. Then on Saturday, the inside dealers of the show will set up.

Here is the information on the show from the website: The OUTDOOR TOY SHOW (Saturday, August 3rd) is held in the parking areas of Shoemaker and Macungie Elementary School, which is behind Eyer Middle School where the Indoor Toy Show is held. This is the same location that it has been held for the past 7 years. Spectator Parking Entrance Address is 4062 Brookside Road, Macungie. (see directions link below). Hopefully, the show has found a permanent home, just a few blocks south of the park. Transportation to and from Macungie Memorial Park/car show will be provided on Saturday.
Directions
Bus transportation will be provided from Macungie Memorial Park on Walnut Street (gate #2) to the Indoor and Outdoor Shows on Saturday only from approximately 8 am to 2 pm.

From the South, traveling Northbound on Route 100 entering the Borough of Macungie: Turn right at the traffic light on Buckeye Road (Jeff’s Auto Service and Subway Restaurant) travel approximately 2 blocks, entrance to the school is on your right.
From the North, traveling Southbound on Route 100, entering the Borough of Macungie: Cross over the railroad tracks, travel 3 blocks. Turn left on Buckeye Road at the traffic light (Jeff’s Auto Service and Subway Restaurant), travel approximately 2 blocks. Entrance to the school is on your right.
The Outdoor Toy Town is located in the parking lots of Shoemaker and Macungie Elementary Schools. Indoor Toy Show is still inside of Eyer Middle School. Both shows are on the same campus.
Outdoor Toy Town vendors can check in on Friday of the event from 9 am until 7 pm and on Saturday of the event from 5 am to 7 am. For vendors that arrive on Saturday, they need to be set up by 7 am. Spectators are welcome on Friday from 10 am to 5 pm to get early deals, or wait until Saturday from 7 am until 2 pm and have more vendors. Personal Thoughts
This is a fun show. If you can go on Friday I would as you can shop the outside dealers that have set up. While the show is heavy automotive toys due be connected to an antique car show, there are plastic figures if you look. One of the dealers who should be there is Mike Russo. He will have a wide range of plastic figures. On Saturday, the inside dealers will set up and will have a few dealers with plastic. I will be roaming for a few hours each day.
