Marx WWI French Two Tier Box

Mark has sent pictures of the front and back of two tier WWI French Box. In the box is very rare Marshall Foch figure. This is the first time I have ever seen the box. Just when you thought you have seen all the figures Marx made another one pops up.

Here is the back of the box listing the Arabs and Egyptians.

One Response to Marx WWI French Two Tier Box

Wow that brings back memories. I remember I wanted the Viking box set the most, and my mom got me the British, and Americans Revolutionary sets instead, lol. That was for my 6th, 7th or 8th birthday. By the time we went back to the store to get the viking set, they were sold out.

I never saw them again until the late 80’s or early 90’s. I don’t remember seeing the French ones at the store when I was looking at them. I definitely liked the viking set the most, and begged my mom to get that set for me, and she said she would for my birthday, Lol. I don’t really remember any of the other sets there, although the shelf was packed with the different sets. I never saw any of them again. That was within 2 weeks of my birthday, so they sold out of all of them very quickly, and they never restocked them. I can’t even remember the name of the store now it was so long ago.

Anyway, thanks for sharing, and posting these, they are nice figures. I never recall seeing them.
