CTS GI Set 2

One other item I got for myself  for Christmas was CTS GI Set Two. I purchased it as the set had figures to go with your artillery pieces.  I have very few figures to use with the artillery in the collection. The only figures I can think I have for artillery are the figures Corgi did and they are nearly impossible to find these days.  So I was glad to see new figures to use with the artillery.  I also enjoy the other figures especially GI firing the machine gun M3.  The M3  was made as it was easier to produce than the Thompson submachine gun.  The figures are 54mm and will go well with your Marx figures.

Not to mention the always useful firing BAR guy, they are decent figures, I got them at OTSN.

I had planned to get the CTS figures at Hackensack but the budget got knocked out due to all the good items that were there. Yes the BAR man is great.

I picked up one the PlasticUnderground Robin Hood figures and he arrived yesterday. I’m not a Robin Hood collector, but I liked the way they looked and thought I’d get one for my mantel. I have always been a fan of his figures even from his early days even when they were a bit crude. Anyway, I picked up his rendition of Will Scarlet. I was very impressed, nice detail, great paint job, good realistic action pose and much to my surprise a true 54mm, in the past his figures have been more in the 60mm scale. Not sure how much of this line will appear on e-bay, but when I spoke with him he seemed enthusiastic about continuing with Sheriff’s men and other character type figures. I think they are worth a look, never quite sure when they will appear on e-bay, but if you search on seller vikingpope he usually has some interesting figures out there.
