Hong Kong Romans on Card

RoFu

One of our very good friend from Germany Markus Leckscheid has sent us photos of the Hong Kong figures on the card. Markus noted that the card that has the foot  figures has the word mounted. The art looks more like the siege of Troy . As Markus noted finding the figures on the card is getting harder and harder.

WOW!!.This is hard to get;now my case did not bring same lay out plus one mounted archer pose not seen here. Now I had to dig, but I doubt as mine were very played off x years and I do not recall they survived .I did have two full set. Mine did not have those names in the case as far I recall .There were not in English any how..

      Erwin –
I have multiple sets of these, from at least 2 different manufacturers, both marked ‘Hong Kong’. Each set has a few different poses an one has separate bases. I’d gotten full sets and onesies here and there. All of course (you know me) are separated out, Greek from Roman, and Greeks are painted bronze, Romans pewter. I’ve never seen a mounted archer pose in all of my gathering. Think you might show it to us? I guess it’s the Britain’s Greek archer pose altered to ride a horse? I’d love to see it.

Greg Yes as I said before in other posting(see it please) with the first series post by admi of these figures few days ago and from where second and third post come out with more links. The archer is indeed the Britain-herald food top part with same generic open rider legs used in all rider figures. But mine are from old played personal collection when child, wherever I had left is there posted in my first pic I sent days ago. The One with base separated are the one with numerical order mold poses. That should be the set if numbers are in base with 4 mounted(included archer) poses.
Markus great set, that card-mint has great value as it is!!!.
Other link posted with other card set is obviously a repack set (that nylon was not used at all in cards back them and rubber bands were neither used as well. They were pack in blister with molded/shaped hard clear plastic over or window box in standing attach to case base. Still good samples figures
