Lod Enterprises Figure Comparison

unnameda

One of our readers wonder how the new Lod Enterprises would compare in size to some of the other figures out in the market.  I contacted Ken Ciak about this concern and he gracious responded with pictures comparing his Greeks and Trojans with other figures.  In the photo above  Ken has two of his Greek figures with two of the TSSD Romans. Ken feels his figures match up fine with the Romans and should easily give the Romans a run for their coin.

The second photo that Ken did shows one of his  Trojans running pictured with a TSSD Barbarian, an Austin Miniature Marine and one of the Expeditionary Force Greeks. Ken feels the height of the figures is very close and comparable to other makers.

Another thing that Ken noted that the muscle tone is not exaggerated. The figures are more realistic to the period. Ken is curious on your response.

Well I guess we got another tall scale here so far but more match with last EXF and TSSD romans. Same in Atlantic others.
So for those in 54 mm no match I guess;definitely the 60/65 mm is the new winner race in resent production. Least their body match more accordingly ,sculpting is great. Way more 3D view than those in TSSD and others. Poses very well done. I notice the blue colors are gloss!!.It is that the picture or are they coming in that way!?

Not .The muscle tone is very well done, the flexing in legs poses is very well chose and observed by artist, so the armor=match with Trojans Atlantic and old ancient painting .
The figures in pictures (not well line together to observe the correct high) look a bit taller than others considering the flexing legs versus other more standing; still the general image look very well match next to others as body mass proportionality was very well done. A detail not take by EXF .So I consider them much better than EXF and Atlantic .TSSD romans are 2D not 3D ,so sorry they loose here. These are best so far in this period. Definitely in my list coming wanted list and very happy for the awesome job. Congrats!!!.
Just for one detail ;in my opinion the plastic color should be more mate -less gloss to reduce image/detail lost at simple view. It just my observation and wish alllllll
the BEST to the company, owner and artist /workers involved.
You beat the…. out of many in detail/sculpture.

I think they look great. I would like to see them challenge the Conte Spartans. Wonderful to see new figures on the market.
