Nice but hopefully the next two are firing poses.

I actually think the second pose is even better than the first. Both are just superb figures. Remember, this is going to be a 4-figure add-on set. The original set already includes the standard standing and kneeling firing poses. TSSD’s whole WWII line, Civil War, 7th Cavalry and Indians —– have all been just great. With their long winter coats, these are going to be great additions to the joint Barzso/TSSD Stalingrad playset of a few years ago. Plenty of those lines of German prisoners being marched out of Stalingrad that I see on the Military Channel are wearing those soft hats.
The two samples of Napoleonic/Mexican lancers look pretty good, too. Regretfully, I’m probably going to have to miss OTSN this year, where TSSD will release these new figures, but I still plan on obtaining them nearly as soon as they’re released. Next month (July) is Joe Saine’s Michigan Toy Soldier Auction and Show, which I’ll attend, but the TSSD figures won’t be ready by then. I’m hoping to see both John Stangle and Bill Murphy there. Marxman Stangle might even have some of the new Russian figures. If they can figure out how to hold the price below $5.00 per figure, I might even acquire some.

    Don,

See what you can find out about the Marxman or his sons release of the Viet Nam figures, maybe they’ll even have some prototypes.
