Baggage Battles

I did appear on the episode of Battle Battles after all.  I was just behind  Traci so you see me in several shots of the auction.  As to the finished show, I have one word for it hokey.  No auctioneer worth his or her salt is not going to open every box that comes into them for sale. They live on commission. To find what Billy and Traci did in their suitcase and box just does not happen.  The mystery box that  was bought by Laurence and Sally Martin that did happen. It was a box that was put up that way at the auction.  As to the experts on the items, they get a look at the item beforehand so they can research the item. Using Jordan Hembrough as an example, I doubt he knew much about the robot before being sent material on it. The robot was from a chain called Circus Playhouse that was like Chucky Cheese. Doing research on the internet, I found that restaurant was located in the south in the 80’s. The restaurant does not have much information on the web.  Jordan may have used Worthpoint web site as there one of the robots in 2011 on there that was not in working condition.

Doing the show was an interesting experience, as mention in my previous article the cast was very friendly and nice to the people that were there.

Paul: Good to see that camera captured you a few times in the episode from Allentown. Maybe one day Billy will open a locked trunk to discover it filled with rare plastic figures?
Hokey is the right word to describe the show because it’s loaded with so many hokey innuendos, but I enjoy watch it because it’s good mid-week entertainment.

If Billy does find those rare plastic figures, I can then be the expert who appraises them. LOL.
Like I said it was to watch how the show was made. Over the years I have been in the audience seeing various shows being made and have enjoyed it.
Baggage Battles is what it is entertainment
