November 2025 Allentown Toy Show and More

November 2025 Allentown Toy Show and More, the first weekend in November is a heavy toy show time. It used to be Allentown on Saturday and Hackensack on Sunday. Sadly, Hackensack is no longer being on, I still did two small toy shows and a flea market.

Allentown Toy Show is my closest show and I have been going to it for years. The show is two days. The first day is dealer setup, which I buy early rights. Walking around I saw Marx playsets, but nothing rare. Most of the Marx items were I felt at high prices. For example, a Marx colonial tavern was $75.00.

Britain knight

I found one dealer that had bags of figures she had acquire. In the the bags, i found some Marx 60mm figures, Britains swoppet knights, and other Britains Deetail and Herald. After four hours of roaming I left.

Day Two Two Shows

Day two of Allentown started off with some more Britains Deetail purchases. then I received a call. The day before while working a table, I received a call from a dealer and end up in buying some old store stock. The stock is newer production. Getting back into the show, I found a few Marx items including parts to the Navarrone mountain.

After doors opened I head to a a flea market that was having a toy show. I went there to find the person, who did the 3D figures. He was not there, so I went into the toy show. In the toy show, I found an Ideal pirate ship mostly complete. Going out of the toy show, I did one row and had my score of the weekend a partial Aurora Invasion Beachead playset. This one is noted for have tanks done by Timpo. The tanks are partial, but still in demand. With that puurchase I headed home.

One More Toy Show and Flea Market

tin car

Sunday, I did a small toy show. It is one that I rarely find anything inside as it is mostly diecast with a few action figures. On the outside, I may find something, this time it was a few action figures and some Mattel Guts figures. Since it is not far away, I do a flea market that has seen better days. Usually I do not find anything, but I did find some Durham German Tanks and a German troop carrier. Also found a few Matchbox military vehicles and the above tin litho army car. When I met Laurie, she told me about these tin cars she had as a child. I later gave her childhood memory as I had a few my father got me, when we used to roam flea markets. This one is in fair condition and the collection has two, but I still picked up.

Plastic tree

One final item that I picked up was this plastic tree. I had just bought the Durham vechiles and was heading back to the car when I spotted a lot of items for sale. The dealer had them outside his stand against the building. The price was $.50 each. The only item I could find was this tree. The only problem was finding the dealer and then waiting as he dealt with other people. I gave him a dollar and told him to keep the chance. The tree will go into the collection.

I wonder what the story might be about the clear plastic Deetail GIs?
