April 2023 Elastowit News Gettysburg Show, now that tax time is done I can get back to other things. First, I have some news from Eastowit with new figures. Next, the Gettysburg show is coming up and I will be there. So let’s get started
Elastowit News
Elastowit announced several new sets of figures. First space Opera Two which has six new figures to add to the series. They are 3 Zardoz exterminator brutals (to add on Zed – Sean Connery), Killer Kane, Wilma Deering (to add to Buck Rogers), and Mirona Thetin (from Perry Rhodan universe). The figures will be available in various colors and in a header bag.
The next set coming up is Lost World. One set is the explorers. They are as follows from left to right Edward D. Malone, a reporter, Professor George Edward Challenger, Lord John Roxton, an adventurer, and Professor Summerlee, a scientist
Also in this series are the cavemen we showed before and the Acala Indians natives of the Lost World. Like the other sets, they are four different figures.
Finally, Elastowit is showing Astra. Here is what they are saying about this figure. Out of fun, we have decided to try a 3d file we got somewhere…, some gents in here politely insisted, we have to enlist some other female-curved galactic beauties to go with our Space Opera 2023 set lately released
Our customer’s wish is the law, so, until we recruited our own genuine and unique next Barbarella’s incarnation meet Astra, our second to Barbarella interstellar pilot, and a nice gal all over
Could be printed in one of the colors shown on individual requests to go with the Space Opera set.
April 2023 Elastowit News Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show 2023
I enjoyed the Gettysburg Show last year. It is a nice mix of plastic and metal. (You can see photos from last year’s show here.)
One of the highlights of the show will be Mike Predergast of Warhorse Miniatures. Mike will have his fantastic 3D figures for sale.
Another enjoyment will be seeing old friends. I am also hoping to meet new people like Steve Pyle. Steve is doing some great paintwork as in the example above from Warhorse Miniatures. I hope to have some of his work in a future posting. Here are the details to get to the show. Hope to see you there.
Very interesting figures .the explorer set has multiple uses .Warhorse Miniatures figures are awesome ,their new material is much better .

I agree; though I’m into more realistic figures sometimes some stylized figures just catch my eye. In 1/72 scale I loved HaT’s Napoleonic Russian Milita set and their 1812 French Infantry – again, not my usual cup of tea, but there was something about them I liked – particularly the Russian militia – they had personality. These Elastowitt guys are starting to grow on me.
