Merchant Square Is Closing Many Memories

Figure lot
One of my favorite places for figures is Merchant Square. Merchants Square is only ten miles from my house. I would be able to get items at the shows they would sponsor and the stands. I knew things were changing when they stopped sponsoring shows. Then various stands moved out. Finally, a notice appeared on my local television’s site of the Merchant Square closing

I went over and only a few stands were left. One stand that was left was one that I had gotten figures out over the years. I got some of the figures like the ones above that I planned to use in scenarios. The figure on left is Jane from Disney’s Tarzan. I figure to use her in a western scenario. Likewise, Esmeralda, I will use it for a western setup in a tavern. The middle figure is from Anastasia and can be used in the west or modern setup.

Other figures are for my figure collection.. The Lone Ranger figure is from the Disney Infinity series. I already had Tonto. The middle figure is Gimm from Mother Goose and Grimm comic strip. The final figure is the Black Widow for my superhero collection. I will miss this great place for figures.

Expeditionary Force French Garrison Artillery

Merchant Square Is Closing French
We have the latest from Scott of the Expeditionary Force. The latest set is French Garrison Artillery. These are not new sculpts but are packaged with models and parts from previous sets to
facilitate collectors who are interested in the guerrilla war aspects of the Peninsular War. To
assemble such a set would have required the collector to purchase multiple sets for all the
relevant parts. You can see the details here.

Arab cavalry is next.
