The main items in the package were a series of Speira Miniatures figures. The majority are from their Roaring 20’s. The figures are Ewan the policeman, the boss, and Annie the Sicaria. Sicaria is a female hitman.
The Shadow
Two other figures are Dracula (played by Gary Oldman) and the Shadow. The second figure is one I wanted to get as I am a fan of the Shadow. I listen to the Shadow show when they reran them in the 60s’. After that, I found the Shadow paperbacks. I always wanted a Shadow figure for my stories.

I have done a figure comparison with one of the Speira Miniatures and Kinder Lord of the Rings which I will talk about later with two Marx 54mm figures. You can see how both figures will work with your 54mm Marx figures.

Here we have the Marx 54mm farmer with the Shadow. The Shadow figure will work well with Marx’s Untouchable figures.

Marx Arab Reissue

Also in the package was a Marx 60mm West Point cadet marching and a Marx Arab reissue. The West Point cadet is soft plastic. The Marx Arab reissue is a mystery.
Arab comparsion
The only reissue of the Marx Arabs that I know of was the CTS Arabs. I had the variations they did at my work area and was able to compare them to Markus’ Marx Arab reissue. As you can see the CTS Arab is in a shiny Plastic and smaller to Markus Marx Arab reissue. Checking with Markus he said this Almost sure I got a bunch from either a Dutch or Dutch-speaking Belgian dealer. He mostly had figures and model kits Made in England so maybe those figures are of UK origin. So we have a new mystery to work on.

Two items from the package. The first is one of the Jim Zorro figures. Jim made foot and mounted figures.

The other figures were Kinder Lord of the Rings. I will have more information and a better photo in a future post.

    Helen& Christian have converted MANY Yank & Reb KIA/WIA poses into WW1 casualties.I’m now buying all their D-Day G.I. s to convert to AEF types.
    Great sculpts!

    No more AIP to kick around(I do have boxes of metal poses from around the globe
    for 1918 France,however).Converting the plastics is fun..WOW,Conte FFL,other FFL makers,Don DuCote,Scale Link,many French plastic/metal makers,Tommy’s War,jonsmith..etc..etc..
    Here’s in keeping the memory of WW1 with a very few collectors.

    I have the 3 full sets of LOTR but they are more like 1/35 scale .Unfurtunately they won’t match with AOEME brand release in early 2000.I bought mine with the nice book shape packing and the surprise poses
    They still fairly common online off Europe .They are wonderful sculpted.

    Hi Randy, I like the idea of converting the Speira D Day casualty poses to WW1 AEF: are they altering the files to do this eg canvas leggings into puttees , helmet change and the Garand into a Springfield? If they could it would be fantastic: they do great work.
