roman Peter evans conversion
It is always great to see photos from our very good friend Peter Evans of his conversions. His latest is of a Cherilea Roman. I am going to let Peter give you his comments on this new conversion.
Three Odds Ends Peter Romans
This is one of my favorite sets from my childhood, but they do suffer from “Brittle with age” syndrome. I pick up damaged figures (cheap) for repair.

I had this figure missing his arms and shield, so I made new arms from Miliput, also a cape from the same material draped over his arm. The Imperium staff was usually hollow and carried officers’ commissions and letters from the Emperor. It was made from a rolled card and the eagle came from a 20mm Roman Soldier Standard (Aquilla). The helmet was given a long ponytail crest at the back also from Miliput.
The pictures show the finished figure, an original Cherilea as sold and the figure painted with more detail. I can wait to see his next project.
