Richard Conte of Conte Collectibles has released a series of photos for the second series of Romans.

Seven of the eight poses you can make into other poses have one or more variations made up from alternate heads/arms/weapons. I like the pose you can do with the signifier
romans attacking
Also, please note that some of these poses are NOT in their exactly correct position as many parts have been loose ‘temporarily’ put in place.
Conte Collectibles Roman Two Closeup
Here is a closeup of the last three Romans I showed. in the previous post. I like for some reason the Roman with two swords.

Another closeup of some of the figures. we have no information on when these figures will be out . We will keep you updated as we get more information.

4. Marine pilot with a pistol in his right hand. 5. Is standing with a Johnson Light Machine Gun. This weapon surprised a number of readers on Facebook. The Johnson Light Machine Gun was considered as a lighter replacement for the BAR.
Overview of figures
6.Marine leaning to the right firing a BAR. 7. Advancing with a carbine in his hand He may be holding a grenade in his right hand.

Whille I like the figures, I wish Mikhail had done a figure firing a rifle. What are your thoughts. I have to thank Rahway for keeping aware of the new releases.

  1. Carl Shatley says:

I think Marine #6 is actually firing a Johnson M1941 Semi Automatic rifle.
So the cool thing is that both Johnson weapons are represented. I would think these figures would compliment the Austin Miniatures Marines.
    Neat stuff!

  2. BRIAN says:

Now just FLATTEN the bases eh!LOL.

  3. Tom Black says:

Conte Roman set 2 looks great. Really nicely sculpted heads. They add a lot of character to the set along with the action poses.
I agree with Carl, the PP U.S. Marines will go nicely with Austin Miniatures set.

  4. ERWIN SELL says:

This second Romans set look awesome !!!
PP as usual nice detail and poses.

  5. Wayne W says:

I just finished re-reading a history of the First Special Service Force (The “Devils Brigade”) of World War 2. I was interested to read they were able to get 125 M1941 Johnsons from the Marines in exchange for a quantity of plastic explosives. If I mortgaged my house I might be able to get a couple of these guys to add to my own “Devil’s Brigade.” Again, beautifully realized sculpts.

  6. BRIAN says:

RE:Marines I hope that’s not the final colour.
