German Toy Exhibit Show Herne Germany, our very good friend Markus Lecksheid sent us information. His city Herne reopened the Strünkede Castle with a toy exhibit. They also had a flea market with toys.

The Emschertal Museum at the Strünkede Castle has a Toy Worlds exhibit. Put together by Doctor Peter Weber the exhibit has dolls, tin toys, model ships, etc. You can see more information on the exhibit here.

Flea Market

A small flea market was added with the show for the opening weekend. It had some of the familiar faces in our hobby. This table had Figuren magazines, Elastolin reference books, and figures.

A box of Jim of France Disney figures came in various sizes. These are the large figures. My favorite is Uncle Scrooge, which you can see on the left. He is holding his lucky dime.

This table has Starlux figures including circus figures. Also on the table are stuffed animals.

Our final shot shows some composition figures. the success of this small show is just a prelude to the German Plastic Show that is coming next month. One other thing they have a nice medical festival in the fall.
