Plastic Warrior Show 2020 Cancelled

Plastic Warrior Show 2020 Cancelled, we have received word from Paul Morehead the sad news. Here is what he had to say.

At the time of writing, government advice restricts gatherings indoors to no more than 30 people, subject to following strict social distancing. If we were to hold a show this year it is likely that we would have to half the number of tables and restrict entry at the door. Other factors are the use of cash, not encouraged at present; face covering, gloves, etc. In view of this we have reluctantly decided not to hold a PW Show this year but to plan the next one for May 2021.

Plastic Warrior Show 2020 My Thoughts

Plastic Warrior Show 2020
I was sorry to hear that the Plastic Warrior show was canceled. Due to where it is located I can understand the reason. The show has been one of the smallest shows we have been to and frankly, there is no way they could do the rules that are in place.

That said it is a great show to find treasures. You can see pictures on my site from the 2019 show. An example of that is the photos from Detlef Heerbrand. Our personal experiences of the Plastic Warrior show has been great. I have found items for my collection and resale. One of the surprises has been finding figures from the United States. Some of the figures were in different colors from here. The other U.S. figures were at prices that made it foolish to pass up.
As to foreign figures, you had a chance to add some different figures to your collection.
I don’t know how the rest of the year will be for shows. Philadelphia has canceled all large events until the end of February. We will have to see if we will have any shows in the second half of the year.
