Detlef’s Herne Figure Goodies

Detlef’s Herne Figure Goodies, I like to see what one of my friends gets at a show. Detlef was kind enough to share photos of the items he got at German Plastic Show.

The first item from Detlef is these interesting cavemen. Checking with Erwin, he said they are from a bucket set from China that came with dinosaurs. This set was out a few years ago. Erwin does not remember who made them.

I have a complete set of the Braidwood figures with the box. I find them kind of cartoonish, but they have a certain appeal that I can’t put my finger on. The one guy that I suppose is Custer (?) is kind of interesting. Although I don’t know what he would be doing with what looks like an Apache scout.

Some really Great looking figures, Many ive never seen before. I especially like the 1st picture of the Cavemen. Again ive never seen these before but would like to get some. Of course they are Cavemen but i also think Cavemen make Brilliant Barbarian Brutes for a Fantasy army from the Mountains say, Just my idea anyway. What scale are they? I also really liked the look of the Jecsan Egyptians and was going to buy some a few years ago until i found out they were about 65mm, So i didn’t get them. Nevermind. I also like many of the American Indians and again some of these ive never seen.
