Pirates

Here is a bunch of fun pirates that I picked up last week when Laurie and I went south and did some flea markets. The first flea market is part of a farmers market.  We have had a hit or miss at this market in the past. This time it was so so I got a bunch of Playmobil which I have done good in the past  while Laurie who has found some nice jewelry at this market found nothing. I found two other items  the first was a bags of pirates for a dollar.  Out of that bag I got the four large figures you see in the picture.  The two skeltons and pirate I have no idea who made them.  The other large figure is resin and has a price of $2.99 which what it originally sold for.  I also got an unused Klutz Pirate and building cards.  The pirate is PVC  and you never see these figures loose. I paid $1.00 for it and it retails for $14.95 in the educational toy store.

From this market Laurie and I headed toward another more collectibles flea market. This market I do not put much hopes on it as I rarely find anything. Laurie has more luck in finding good costume jewelry. This time the pickings for Laurie were sparse and dealers were not willing to deal. She left at least two stands because they did not have prices marked on their items.  We went inside the one building to catch some air conditioning I stopped at one stand inside and got a few pieces for resale and picked up the little pirate for myself at $.25.

The figure in the picture I will keep. I like the pirates and the skeltons are something different for the collection.
