China Copies of Elastolin Figures

China Copies of Elastolin Figures as we all know that China copied many different figures. We are familiar with the copies of  Elastolin Romans and Vikings. What you may not know they copied other Elastolin figures.  From our very good friend Erwin Sell, we have some new information. China copied  cowboys, Indians and Huns.

Erwin tells me he found these figures in 2001.  He found them on a business trip to China.  The figures are in a soft PVC. The figures are 60mm not 70mm. That means the figure were very likely  pantagraphed down. The first photo shows a mounted cowboy and an Indian

The mounted Indian with spear.  The spear needs to be straighten. Both of the figures have different horses.

China also copied the foot Elastolin Indians.  The Indians are not exact copies. They are more stylize. The leg positions on the Indian with pistol and knife and tomahawk and shield are too wide.  Still I like the poses.  (Note the figures on the bottom are copies of the Lone Star Indians.)

Here we have a close up of the Indians. The western figures did showed up in the United States.  I do not know if the Hun figures showed up here. I feel they were made for the Asia market. Still you never know.
