Great Conversion Piece

Our very good friend Floyd Wilson  wanted to recreated a scene from the Movie “Warlord”. In the movie, Bors played by Richard Boone  jumps into the moat so he can retreive an anchor from a boat to use in defense of the tower.  After Bors got the anchor, a rope was dropped down so he could be pulled up. Floyd  contacted Gary Dutko master figure convertor, who agreed to make the conversion. In the picture you can see the result a worthy addition to the set.

Nice work. I had hoped that Conte would re-visit the character figures of the “Warlord” in plastic. A helmetless Hesten (Chyrs??can’t remember his name) Character would have been nice. If he could have combined a plastic set of the “Vikings” and “Warlord” character figures done like the Spartans it would have been off the charts!

Was it Chysagon De LaCroix (?) Great movie and great piece. Gary is an artist with plastic.

It was Chrysagon de la Cruex. I think Gary did a phenomenal job on the conversion. I have the soundtrack which is rather hard to find and the inside cover shows a couple of helmetless pictures from the film of Heston. One of him standing at the top of the crenelated keep hurling down a spear would be a great subject for a conversion.
