Replicants 2026 Offering French Partisans, each year, Peter Cole produces a special set for the Plastic Warrior Show. This year, the special set is French Partisans or French Resistance.
Replicants 2026 Offering French Partisans: Photos

My friend Peter Evans sent me photos of the latest offering from Replicants. The new set is French Partisans or Resistance. The set contains eight different figures. The set contains a woman pulling a pistol out of her coat while holding a baby. Next, you have a man throwing a Molotov cocktail and a man with a dynamite plunger. A radio operator, along with a man kneeling firing a Sten gun. A woman standing, firing a rifle, rounds out the first of six figures.

The final two poses are of a man and a woman crawling or prone. I like how the prone figures are carrying rifles on their backs. These are great additions to your World War II stories. Prior to Replicants offering you either had to have 3D figures or adapt other figures.
Peter wonders about the woman drawing the pistol while holding a baby, if the baby is real or not.
I see using some of the figures with my Untouchables figures. The dynamite plugger might be usable in a western scenario.
These figures will be available from Steve Weston. Here is his website. If we hear from anyone else carrying them, we will let you know.

I am currently working on several posts featuring photos from the 2026 Plastic Warrior Show. My friends, Peter Evans, Markus Lecksheid, and Michael Smith, were kind enough to share photos they took of the show. I can tell you that, according to the reports, the show was a resounding success.
This show has only sixty tables, but it more than enough to fill your needs.
I would like to thank Peter Evans for the Replicants photos.
This is great timing with the new Replicants. Warhorse Miniatures just came out with US Paras and German Fallschirmjagers and Austin Miniatures will release some US Paras soon. These French Partisans will be great to add to a Normandy campaign.
Hi Paul,
Hope all is well. Still recovering from bad fall last year.Broke both arms some ribs & teeth. Just tripped on crack in sidewalk. Afraid I just don’t bounce as well as I used to. Trying to regain full motion of right arm.

Hi Mike,
Sorry on your injuries. It is four years since my fall in the basement. I get minor pain from the rod in my back.
Send the phot to pestad@gmail.com.
Plus all the Mars WW2 figures to add with them.
Hi Paul,
so glad to hear that Replicants is making French partisans. Just a note–the last two, the climbing/prone figures, are not new.
See this link on the Replicants’ site:
https://www.replastic.com/lewes/brooches/
They came out as brooches. I am not sure why Replicants did that.
They are quite old. I have had mine for about 10 years, I think.
But glad to see that they are being recycled with the rifles.
Best,
Fritz
Fritz, just to correct you here: Both of these figures were available as exactly that – figures, they were ALSO available as broaches (and still are – but those are only available via Replicants in his range of Lewes, his home town, figures – I don’t sell ‘jewellery’ of any kind). Don’t ask me why they are included in this set, albeit it as an extra, but it works on some levels. Imagination, that’s all that’s needed. Happy collecting.
Hi Paul, I urged Peter to produce this set some 8 or 9 years ago, to accompany my own D-Day British figures. In discussion with him, over our annual Christmas Dinner last year, we both thought it was possible to use these as gangsters, the thought being that the dress would have been pretty much the same. Bonnie & Clyde springs to mind with the use of the women as Molls. So, yes, these will be advertised as dual purpose French Partisans/Resistance Fighters and Gangsters for the Prohibition period.
The French partisons will make a nice addition to Prohibition gangsters and Molls. They will fit in well with a Bonnie and Clyde set of 54mm I have and the Marc Untouchables.
I like the idea of multi-pupose figures, and the Replicants figures I already have are able to do that. The Smugglers, Royal Navy and British Revenuers find themselves in wide raging scenarios.
Lots of possibilities for the mixing of the various manufacturers’ fugures.
Great set! Are they in stock now?
Also, Steve, really love you British Infantry. I liked they were all enlisted as I already had officers enough for them. Hoping you do another like them.
Hi Wayne, Peter estimates that I will receive stocks sometime in August – when I do, they will go straight on my site. as for our British, I hated the thought of having 2 Officers in a set (in any set in fact!), so did all enlisted men. No chance of any more sets from me, there is simply not enough collectors out there anymore and a mixture of Brexit, Covid and Trumps idiotic tariffs on Foreign Goods imported into the U.S. have helped kill Sales for us.
Steve, I totally understand. I call 2020 the year the world ended for a number of reasons.
Sad there won’t be more, but your guys are the mainstay of my “British army.”
I keep an eye on your page, I will watch even more closely now.
