In a previous post we showed these two pirates. Markus saw them and sent us a photo of the figures on a card.
As you can see the figures were sold three figures on a card. The card also had accessories. The company also did similar cards with human pirates.
Here is those two cards as well. As you can see each card has three pirates. They also have same accessories as the pirates. I wonder if these cards were sold in the states.

We will have shortly a history of Cane, toy soldier company from Italy. Cane did six figures per set. The pirate set has only five figures. There has been a debate. here is what Erwin found.
These two poses are a mystery for many Italian collectors.
Definitely designed by Simonetti or his disciples in art style and pose.
NOTE-I’m against calling Simonetti style effeminate ,it sound biased and odd. For me It is a very typical renaissance style very common used in most school from Italy in painting sculpture and else.
the one in blue is a boy and may represent or be done as the charter for (Treasure island)!?-pose contrary to others 70/75 mm is 60 mm and not beard in face .
While(Green metallic) other is just generic pirate in exact same scale as other CANE pirates

So far none had show as part of CANE in any bag ,but because CANE set usually are 6 poses and PIRATES were only 5 these could had been other poses not launch with same mold to be add or part of second set planed.
The two pose are not hard to find always loose around from Italy most time.

In the recent post I showed a China copy of a Britains knight. this past week I found where it was made. At one of the flea markets I found a playset called Dragons and Knights. Made by AOII from Miami Florida. The playset has copies of the foot and mounted knights and Turks. The figures painted in odd colors.
Here is two of mounted figures. The bases are in plastic.
Finally we have two of the dragons. I have no idea who sold it.
Markus Lecsheid sent me two more Plasty Figures for my partisan/ gangset force. He also sent me the Starlux figure in the middle. The question is was painted this way by Starlux or collector painted The figure is normally in a blue. We will find out.
Intersting different configuration x pirates. The pirates skeletons as I mention before were 6 poses.
Humans too i think .I need check mine.
Here were sold at Party City stores loose and Big lot in packs with 6 each but mixing humans w skeleton..
I have others as well loose .Not pack.
The dragons are part of playset w knights and saracen copied as I mentioned in previews post w first knight depicted .
Playset in packs I got was by another brand(awesome?) I think in hard plastic case and bring two tents plus two catapults and two german flags.

The Dragons and Knights set I have is in the plastic box. I have to check if it has tents.

I just check it mine in my attic.Not tent-sorry too much to remember,there three or 4 different rocks, one is like a cave there two “German modern flags” and the two dragon plus two different catapults that I think are original designed not copies of any body.
The rocks and cave are around in other china made sets bags still ,The dragons had been cloned and copied in other sets or fantasy playset too.
There was a second packed playset using different type dragon with cardboard type castle bot not rocks I think too that had same soldiers .I never got that only the other and yes made by AWESOME in my case..

Really Nice sculpting on the Alamo figure, And I do have some of those China copies of the Britains Deetail Knights and Turks. I also have those Skeleton Pirates and Human Pirates Loose, Not in any kind of packaging, There are quite a few Skeleton figures out now that I can add to my Fantasy army, Pity there arean’t any Lizardmen or Goblins but I live in hope.
I like the custom figures for Ed Borris, nice detailing. I’m curious to know what sculpting product or material the sculptor is using?
He used to use this brown epoxy like tape, not sure what he uses anymore.
I like the two civilian from PLASTY ,yes could be used either partisan ,gangster or else definitely.
