I just heard they suspect Legionaires Disease, I hope not and that all goes well for him, he’s had a hard luck couple of years here lately.

I just saw Mike Kutnick stated on the Marx group that Nick was in the hospital with Legionaire Disease. We can only hope and pray he pulls through.

I just got an e-mail from Deanna, she’ll try and keep us posted.

Truly one of the good guys of the hobby.

This is sad news indeed. Nick has had a rough past year or so. Nick and DeAnna both are some of the nicest folks you’d ever want to meet. Will keep them both in my prayers.

Just noticed this (copied & pasting here) update on TSSD site from his wife:

JUST A QUICK UPDATE ON NICK (6-9-12)

Nick is on the mend after contracting Legionnaires Disease about ten days ago. We have no idea if he was exposed in San Diego or while we were in Texas for the show. He is out of ICU now and improving slowly. I am doing my best to keep the business under control and I welcome your calls, e-mails and orders! The “Store” is opened for business! Thank you all for your concern, thoughts and prayers – again! there is nothing like the friendship of the toy solder collecting community! If we got through last year’s challenge, we can sure get through this one!

That is good news to hear. We had been concerned that things were not going well as we had heard no update. Nick still has a long way to go.

Good news Deanna posted an update on the TSSD site, Nick is out of ICU.

Nick is home, guess full recovery is going to take some time.
