I was looking at recently at our very good friend Mathias Berthoux’s web site Soldat Plastique 1-32 and found two new 1/32 scale plastic figure companies from Russia. The first company is Engeneer Bassevitch. This company has two sets of Russian Revolution. Set one is Red Army. The set has 12 figures in 6 poses. Set two is Red Army Extension which has 10 figures in 10 different poses. The poses are very good and will work well with your Armies in Plastic Figures.
The other company is Pvblivs Toy Soldiers. This company has done two different figures, the first is a set of four Romans. The poses are auxillary bowman, Roman throwing spear, standing with standard and Centrurion. The other figure is a mounted musketeer. the horse is a little toyish, I like the mounted figure and will added it to my collection when it comes available.
I hope to get pictures in the near future when I get permission.

When can we expect pictures?I did search on the Soldiers site but they said nothing there and when I Googled “Engeneer Bassevitch” the only entry that came up was the Soldiers site!!Sort of a “Catch-22” eh?!?,LOL.
By all means, Paul, let’s get some pictures up, along with a U.S. ordering address site and prices. It’s not fair to tease us like this! Your description makes them sound pretty good. We haven’t had anything like this since Atlantic’s Russian Revolution figures.

I have to get permissions first and I have been back up on other work. I hope to get the pictures soon. I know the frustration of not seeing new items. Hopefully these companies will get an U.S. distributor as they will be welcome additions to collections.
