PLastic Warrior Show Date Confirmed

The 2012 Plastic Warrior Show has been confirmed for Saturday May 5. Once again it will be at the Queen Charlotte Hall in Richmond, a suburb of London. The show  is easy to reach from London via the underground. The show has about 60 tables, but they are loaded with plastic figures from around the world. Check out previous reports I have done that are on the internet. Laurie and I hope to be there.

Wish I could join you and Laurie there in London, Stad. It sounds great with a such a different selection of plastic than we’re accustomed to seeing in our stateside shows. But the next show on my horizon is Indiana the third week of March. It’s a 6-hour drive from our home in Michigan, which is more my speed. Incidently, our 2 dogs and 2 cats say ‘Hi’ to your 3 dogs.

It is a great show to attend. The amount of plastic is overwhelming and so diversify. Everyone I have attend I have seen things I never knew existed. Next thing is to see the new items from Replicants and Weston Toys. The best part is seeing old friends. I hardly sleep the night before.
The bonus is to get over and roam England. If we go, Laurie will get her Indian food fix plus I will get into Forbidden PLanet the largest comic book shop in London. What is nice, it is right across from Punjab’s a Indian restaurant that Laurie saw on the Food Channel years ago. We will do a little sightseeing, hopefully find a toy show to do the next day. When we were over in 2010 we did Kempton Park, but they have move the show to April.
The show will depend on if we can afford the airfare. So much of the fare is taxes it is crazy. So hopefully we will get there.
Have a great time at the Indy show and let us know how it is. The boys say hi to your buddies as well.

I’ll be at Indy too, not sure about the change of location. I asked a girl from Indy about it and she says it’s pretty close to the bad side of town. I guess I won’t be wandering far looking for places to eat.

Just wanted to let you know that, 10 years after his first edition of “The One Inch Army”, Victor Rudik will be bringing his second edition of the book to the Plastic Warrior Show.

This new book is 600% bigger than the first. I swear, it’s the size & weight of an encyclopedia volume!

I am not surprised on the size of the book. There has been a lot of production in 1/72 scale over the last ten years
