Flea markets 1/14/12

Laurie and I did the garage sale that I did with my friend Les last week.  We got their late as the boys had to get their nails done. Before we got to the garage sale I said to Laurie we might run into our good friend John. We got into the show and sure enough John pop up. He had been sitting in his car letting his wife Marie look around the sale.  John had already looked around  and found nothing in the soldiers. He did see the person I wrote about last week and agreed the person’s prices were high. John got dsome tools he could use.  John and I walked around a bit and he headed back to his car. We set up to go to Maryland next week for a show as Laurie has to work.  I found some 101 Dalmations ornaments and Laurie found a jewelry piece.

The show was disapointing, you are not going to have a great score every time.  I have always worked on percentages, the more times you go out the more chances you are going find a good item. Next week I might get something or it could take a few weeks.

After the show Laurie and I did some errands before we tried out a new eating place the Coopersburg Diner. We had been wanting to try it for a long while and finally did. The food was very good. I had their country como, which was a piece of meatloft, piece of ham and turkey with filling. With the meal you got soup, salad bar and vegetable. the only complaint was I had corn fritter which was more a pancake with some corn in it.  Laurie had Egg Plant wrapped arouned various cheeses. Each of our meals were only $10.95. The place is always busy and we will go back.
