Erwin sent some more photos of the Hong Romans. In this photo and the next two Erwin shows that the mounted Roman with spear and shield is copy of the Crescent figure. This was confirmed by Peter Evans in Plastic Warrior Special page 22. Crescent romans were copied by Hong Kong as well
Hong Kong mounted figure is in the middle between Hong Kong copy of the Crescent and the Marx Warrior of the world Roman. He could not find his original Crescent figure, I checked Peter’s special on Romans and picture on page 3. Peter Evans notes that the Crescent Romans were the most accurate figures that came out before 1970.
