East Coast Toy Soldier Show

018

We are just away a little more than two weeks away from  the best show on the East coast for toy soldiers. The show is to be held at the Fairleigh Dickinson College on November 1. The show will have a wide range of metal and plastic. It will also be a chance to get some of the new items that debuted at OTSN.

Laurie and I will be there, we hope to see you there.

Just looking at the single photo you’ve posted — with the close-up of that single shelf — makes me wish I could be there

I plan on being there, looking mainly for various 6 inch and books and magazines ( also maybe some 60mm WoW )

There will be many tables to look and pick treasures from. You never know what treasures you will find. Besides there is a great dealer in war DVDs many rare foreign language films. I have gotten many nice finds at this show.

Laurie and I are looking forward to see you there. We are usually hanging around Gerry Watts’ table listening to his or Chris’s stories when we are not roaming.

Out here in the Midwest, we had our fun at OTSN last month. I guess we can’t begrudge you East Coast collectors having a little fun yourselves.

Believe me, I know what the anticipation level is just before a major toy soldier show!

Never been able to make this show. It always seems to fall on the same weekend that pheasant season opens. There has to be something really BIG going on for me not to take my gun for a walk in the woods looking for pheasants. Unfortunately, this year, I’ll miss both pheasants and the show. Had both of my knees replaced at the end of September, just got out of the hospital this past Tuesday and will probably be out of circulation until early November. And, if the surgery was not enough, my father died at the end of August and I’m in the middle of trying to get his estate raised, not easy to do from the living room sofa. So, enjoy the show folks.

Thanks George , best of luck, getting back on your feet again !
