Civil War Figure Conversions

002I found these figures in a junk box.  The unknown convertor  used Accurate figures.  On one figure he changed the head and one arm. The other figures the arms were changed. I found the center figure interesting that he is  playing bag pipes.  Is this figure based on a historical figure? These figures will be great addition to the collection.

Pretty cool, who ever converted them had a good eye and knew what they were doing !
You can Google American Civil War Union Scottish soldiers ( North and South did have Scottish troops although I don’t remember seeing any Confederates in Kilts) and see some photos of Union Scottish troops in Kilts, I have also seen Artists painted versions of Union Scottish troops in Kilts in books also units like the 79th in tartan pants, were bagpipes used by these troops is being debated ,so is the piper an accurate figure ?
