Pvblivs New Set Crusaders and Saracens

Our very good friend Mathias has passed along pictures of the new Pvblivs figures Saracens and Crusaders.  As you can see the set has six figures  three Saracens and three Crusaders. I have a strong feeling that Pvblivs will be doing more in this subject.  We thank Mathias for share this information.

Pvblivs truly has a great sculptor at work, as does Engineer Bassavitch. But it’s still difficult to grasp the price of these Russian-made figures.

I would note that anyone who actually holds the CTS Chinese in their hands will find them equally well-sculpted as the Russian-made figures, in an equally high-quality soft plastic, but at barely more than one half the per figure price. When I purchase the CTS figures, I don’t feel guilty about overly indulging myself, as I do every time I purchase Pvblivs and Engineer Bass.

And speaking of the new CTS Korean War line, CTS has now released two prototypes of its Set #2 — North Korean Regulars. Does anyone know if these might be released at OTSN?

To answer your second question first. The CTS North Koreans will not be at OTSN. The projected release is November which can change.
On the Russian figures as we have mention before there are a number of factors why they are higher. First they are shorter runs than CTS and TSSD. Second they are being marketed mainly in Russia and they look at foreign sales as a secondary market. Various people have talked to them on getting a better price with no luck, so your only options are to buy or not to buy.

They look pretty cool. The crusader with the “tin can” helmet reminds me of the Sean Connery Robin Hood in Robin and Marian (great flick, if some of you have not seen it, check it out).
